"This is an unsolicited letter of endorsement for Bruce Svoboda Floor Design.  Bruce and his two staff members did an excellent job and exceeded our expectations. 
 
Bruce Svoboda Floor Design sanded and refinshed six rooms in our home in April, 2007.   He also replaced the floor vents and the quarter-round trim along all the baseboards.  We slightly changed the color which is always stressful.  We found Bruce to be a clear communicator and the color was exactly what he predicted it would be.  He also ably advised us on the pros and cons of the various finishes that were available to us.  The small details, such as sanding in the corners, were completed neatly and thoroughly.  When we scratched the newly finished floor by moving a refrigerator on towels (note to all reading this -- lift, don't slide!), Bruce promptly came back and expertly repaired the damage at a reasonable fee.
 
Upstairs, all we did was shut our bedroom doors and put a towel along the bottom crack.  No dust entered those rooms.  The one main floor room that held all of our furniture was sealed with plastic sheeting that was slightly open at the bottom.  Almost no dust entered that room.  Our kitchen was sanded and we didn't have time to empty out all of the cabinets.  You can imagine our surprise that the insides of those cabinets were also fairly clean.  The main dust was on the louvered blinds and the countertops.  We were thrilled that his methods prevented cleaning projects throughout the house.  In the garage where they used a saw, they cleaned up their work area.
 
More important to us than the beautiful floors and the reasonable amount of clean-up was the calibre of Bruce's staff.  We found all three men to be professional, courteous and pleasant.  They spoke to each other with respect.  It is never easy to open your home to strangers, especially when they know you will be spending a night away from your home.  We had no reservations once we had an opportunity to meet and converse with these gentlemen.
 
We would highly recommend Bruce Svoboda Floor Design and would not hesitate to use them again for future projects."
